Taiwan has no kerbside bins. Every evening people carry their bags down to meet a truck that plays Für Elise. Miss it and the bag waits for the next run. Garbage Truck answers the three questions that come up every day.

Each feature starts from a question people actually say out loud.
What kind of trash is this?
Sorting rules change by city: a helmet is recycling in one and general waste in the next. Take a photo, or press Camera Control, and the app answers for your city. Follow-up questions go to Apple Intelligence on Private Cloud Compute, with an on-device fallback.
Is there a truck today?
Ask Siri. The answer comes back inline with a map, without unlocking, and leads with the notice when a typhoon or holiday suspends collection.
When does it arrive?
Live truck positions in New Taipei, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung. The arrival estimate comes from where the truck really is, the Dynamic Island counts down, and a reminder counts your walking time so you know when to head down.
